The HUE Theory

Where Confidence Meets Color

For Meghna Deva, Founder & Creative Director of The HUE Theory, fashion has never been simply about clothing. It is about confidence, self-expression, and creating timeless pieces that make women feel extraordinary. After more than two decades designing luxury apparel for some of the world's most respected fashion houses in New York City, she transformed a lifelong dream into a brand that reflects exceptional attention to detail while encouraging women to embrace color with confidence.

Meghna's journey began in India, where her fascination with textiles, artistry, and beautifully crafted garments inspired an ambitious vision. That dream eventually led her to Parsons School of Design in New York and a distinguished career designing for leading global brands before launching The HUE Theory.

Today, Southlake is where that vision continues to flourish. Meghna, her husband, Saurabh Khandelwal, known to most as Nick, and their children, Vihaan and Myra, are proud to call the community home. From the welcoming atmosphere to the strong sense of connection, Southlake has provided both a place to raise their family and the foundation for building their growing fashion brand. The encouragement and support of the Southlake community gave Meghna the confidence to turn a lifelong dream into a growing luxury fashion brand.

"The HUE Theory was born from a simple belief: exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and beautiful color have the power to transform how a woman feels. Every piece is created to become a conversation starter, inspiring confidence and prompting the question, 'Where did you get that?'" Meghna says.

That philosophy extends beyond every collection. The "Hue" in The HUE Theory represents every woman's unique personality, confidence, and presence. While neutrals are timeless and elegant, the brand encourages women to embrace color as an expression of who they are.

"'No Inhibition' is an invitation to express yourself confidently and without hesitation," Meghna says. "Fashion should never feel limiting. It should be liberating."

Each collection blends luxurious fabrics, intentional design, and timeless silhouettes with inspiration drawn from destinations around the world. The current collection captures the elegance of Italy's Amalfi Coast through vibrant prints, refined details, and effortless sophistication designed to become lasting wardrobe favorites rather than seasonal trends. Every garment reflects meticulous attention to fit, fabric selection, and craftsmanship, blending timeless elegance with modern sophistication.

As The HUE Theory prepares to introduce its Fall/Winter collection and Spring/Summer 2027 collection, the brand is thoughtfully expanding into a carefully curated selection of luxury boutiques across the Southwest, Northeast, and South while exploring collaborations with luxury jewelry and accessory brands. Despite that growth, Meghna remains focused on authentic relationships, intentional brand building, and creating exceptional pieces that women will love for years to come.

"The HUE Theory has always been about more than beautiful clothing—it's about celebrating confidence, individuality, and the women who inspire us every day," Meghna says.

The HUE Theory collection is available locally at XAR Clothier in Southlake and online at thehuetheory.com.
