Houston’s first-ever Balloon Museum is now open, bringing the internationally acclaimed Pop Air – Art Is Inflatable exhibition to the city through April 19, 2026. Created by Italy-based Lux Entertainment, the immersive showcase fills more than 65,000 square feet with luminous, large-scale inflatable installations from 14 international artists. The experience merges pop culture with conceptual art, celebrating creativity, play, and human connection. “In Pop Air, play becomes both a language and an intellectual experience,” says Roberto Fantauzzi, president of Lux Entertainment. Founded in Rome in 2021, the Balloon Museum has become a global sensation, attracting more than seven million visitors. Houston joins a growing list of cities to host the award-winning, air-filled exhibition that redefines how audiences interact with contemporary art. balloonmuseum.world
