Eric Teggeman was introduced to pool in the 1940s. In the back room of his father’s grocery store, he saw men gathering and socializing while playing pool and other games. And while he enjoyed the experience, it wasn’t until after his time serving in the Air Force that he would truly find his passion. Come 1971, Eric decided to open Austin Billiards, where his son, Jim, would grow up. Jim continues to honor his father’s legacy as the current owner of Austin Billiards, bringing his dream of having a combined showroom and warehouse into a reality. From foosball to darts to—of course—pool tables, this family-fueled business has it all.
