Located in the heart of downtown Franklin at 400 Main Street, The Williamson County Visitor Center is open and ready to serve 360 days a year. The center’s friendly Information Specialists can assist guests with an abundance of area information including brochures, guides, maps and even merchandise. Close to 50,000 visitors from around the world stop in each year.

Director of Visitor Experience and Retail, Felecia West, states, “The Information Specialists are very knowledgeable about our community and we provide many resources of materials to help with their visit and exploration. Most visitors and locals alike would like to know places to dine, shop, live music venues and other experiences in the area. Most locals aren’t aware of the local
Historical Homes and it’s refreshing to have them come into the Visitor Center curious about the amazing history of Franklin.”

The Information Specialists can inform you on the local distilleries, hiking trails and the scoop on the latest in town. Discounted tickets to the historic Carter House, Lotz House and Carnton are available onsite. You can even purchase tickets for the new hop-on, hop-off trolley tour that takes you through the town’s most iconic sites.

The Visitor Center is not only for visitors but it is the hub of information for Williamson County locals. It's always “in the know” on the latest happenings around the county and upcoming events. The Visitor Center also provides a variety of boutique-style, local branded merchandise from t-shirts to home goods. Not only can visiting guests take a piece of Franklin home but locals can proudly showcase their love of their hometown. Main Street meets chic at this one-stop shop for locally branded goods.

Next time you’re strolling downtown Franklin, stop by the Visitor Center to shop trendy local gifts, enjoy playing the banjo or guitar in the Pickin’ Corner and add your name to the Welcome Wall chalkboard!
