The Woodlands is Still the One

For the Second Year in a Row, The Woodlands is America's Best City in Which to Live

The Woodlands is once again the Best City to Live in America for the second year in a row, beating out hundreds of American cities for the title. The award was given by Niche.com, an online platform that helps families find new schools and places to call home. Niche considered things like homeownership, quality schools, neighborhood diversity, walkability and other factors to determine its ranking. The platform also dubbed The Woodlands as the #2 Best City to Raise a Family and #2 Best City to Buy a House.

The Woodlands has long been lauded for its innovative design, beautiful parks, thriving arts scene and buzzing nightlight. The area is currently home to more than 120,000 residents and upwards of 2,000 businesses.

Visit The Woodlands Board Chairman Bruce Rieser called the ranking a “tremendous honor” and hopes it will reinforce the area’s reputation as a world-class venue for business travelers and tourists.

The Woodlands was also listed in the top 100 for Best Suburbs to Live in America, Healthiest Cities in America, Healthiest Places to Live in America, Best Cities for Young Professionals in America and Best Places to Live in America, according to Niche.
