Three Favorites for May

Grab Great Food To Go

It’s been a shaky couple of months, but we can still support local restaurants safely. There are countless Knoxville businesses that I love and cherish, but these three are a few of my favorites.

Family Meal Knoxville offers quality chef-prepared food, invoiced online, and delivered directly to your doorstep with the utmost safety and care. You can’t beat that kind of service. The extensive menu changes seasonally, so peruse the list online and try something new.

Hard Knox Pizza is a locally-owned, Knoxville-based artisan pizza restaurant that has a fresh spin on every pie. They have three 12" kits ready for you with their famous crust, par-baked and ready to freeze or add toppings. You can get a growler to-go or a family meal pack. Call to order: Bearden (865) 602-2114 or Hardin Valley (865) 896-3760.

Petro’s Chili & Chips doesn’t need an introduction, but if you haven’t tried the Petro’s Family Packs, give it a go! They are the perfect to-go option for feeding 5-7 hungry people. (Tip: Check with your closest Petro’s to see what deals they’re running for to-go orders. I’m a fan of their Hint-of-Orange Tea.)  Order via drive-thrus, BiteSquad, or call-ahead.

If ordering to-go isn't an option right now, you can always buy a gift card to use later or leave that business a 5-star review on Google or Yelp. Share small businesses on social media or recommend them to a friend!
