Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide weekend food for school children across Frederick County who might otherwise go hungry. Each week of the school year, Blessings and its hundreds of volunteers and partners send a bag of food home over 4,000 children in 30 FCPS schools who are at risk of going hungry when school meals are unavailable.
