Reflecting on one of the many recent moments that have shown so much love to our local community, Jeffery organized a Thanksgiving event at Nissan Stadium, distributing over 500 Thanksgiving turkeys to those in need in November. Simmons continues to support several other local organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Martha O’Bryan Center, Nashville’s Food Pharmacy and more. His impact extends beyond Middle Tennessee, with ongoing initiatives helping to renovate the football facilities in his Mississippi hometown and high school alma mater of Noxubee County High School. The winner of the award receives a $250,000 donation to the charity of his choice. All 32 nominees receive a $55,000 donation to their charity of choice. The winner of this year's Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award will be announced live at NFL Honors on Thursday, February 8th.
