Perfect mudrooms for tidy movers and shakers

Custom blue cabinetry, matching trim and bold patterned wallpaper make this mudroom a standout space while providing exceptional everyday functionality. Durable finishes and thoughtfully designed storage keep shoes, backpacks, sports gear and outerwear organized, while a cozy built-in nook gives the family dog a dedicated place to rest.

Designed for a 1930s Tudor, this mudroom renovation pairs period-inspired millwork with an unexpected pastel palette. A custom mosaic tile floor, built-in bench with a scalloped edge and vintage-inspired details create a fresh and colorful interpretation of the home’s classic architecture.

Located at a newly added side entry, this mudroom was designed as part of a full Craftsman home renovation. Stained white oak cabinetry was detailed to read as built-in furniture, complemented by painted millwork, satin brass hardware and a multi-toned gray hexagon tile floor.

Blue cabinetry, vertical paneling and custom-built mudroom cubbies give this mudroom a bold, tailored look while providing practical storage for the family's essentials. Open cubbies keep shoes, bags and outdoor gear organized and within easy reach, creating a hard-working and welcoming transition space.
