And that’s exactly what Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa aims to do with its new Villas at Sanctuary, a group of eight remodeled villas that were designed to deliver the epitome of luxury R&R.
Located on the north side of Camelback Mountain, the recently unveiled villas flaunt next-level accommodations that each occupy more than an acre of land with amenities like private pools, Jacuzzis, wraparound terraces, home theaters, and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to let nature in.
For those craving a retreat vibe, Villa del Sol is the answer. A private enclave within the resort, it boasts a stunning 3,500-square foot, four-bedroom main home that includes luxe details such as a full kitchen and dining room, a living room that opens to its own private pool and wrap-around patio. There’s also a movement studio with fitness equipment and spa treatment room—ideal for bringing in private instructors and therapists for classes and spa treatments without having to leave the immediate area.
“It was designed for private corporate retreats, girlfriend getaways and wellness or mindful retreats in mind,” says Kathy Massarand, director of sales & marketing for Sanctuary.
Additionally, the enclave features four 875-square-foot casitas that are fully loaded with indoor soaking tubs, private outdoor showers, fireplaces, patios that function as an outdoor living room, and picturesque views of Camelback Mountain through 12-foot high glass walls.
A central lawn area unites the casitas with the main house while also offering complete privacy, and is perfect for theme dinners and sunrise or sunset yoga and other group exercises. Each casita can be reserved separately.
All villas have distinguishing features that lure guests into the ultimate in relaxation. Villa Luna boasts a private indoor and outdoor shower with oversized soaking tub, allowing guests to experience the mountains in a different atmosphere. Villa Ventana is the highest home on Camelback and its floor-to-ceiling windows open onto the patio amid elevated views and edgeless pools.
And, villa guests have full access to all of Sanctuary’s desirable amenities. Among them is the new Quiet Room at the main spa. It grants day and overnight guests the opportunity to unwind and unplug in total silence and serenity between spa treatments or before going home after a stay.
