Top Vets for your Pets

Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic treats local pets with traditional and alternative medicine, and, of course, lots of love.

Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic aims to provide the absolute best veterinary care to your pets, and as a team of animal lovers, promise to care for all pets as if they were their own. In addition to veterinary care and state of the art surgery center, they also provide boarding and grooming services.

Dr. Kathleen Johnson completed her undergraduate studies at Cal Poly Pomona with a major in Animal Science, and went on to receive a master’s degree in Animal Behavior. Dr. Johnson obtained her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Andrea Bogan started as a technician in Fullerton completing her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Cal State University Fullerton. After vet school at Colorado State, she became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture, and for the next 8 years advanced her skills in surgery, ultrasound, and endoscopy. The two doctors partnered together and grew a small clinic of just three employees into a major veterinary center with over 50 employees.

Dr. Johnson is a proud mom to one young man and three fur babies who are her pride and joy, each in different ways. “The love and pride I have for my son are unequalled. He literally fills my heart with joy.” She is also a “mom” to about 50 employees, from vet techs to groomers, who all make Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic a special place to work.

Dr. Bogan’s most important role is being a mom to Brady, 12, and Zac, 11, “who are my pride and joy and best thing I've ever done with my life.” Dr. Bogan also has two dog-kids, an 8 year-old Lab named Jersey Girl, and a 9 year-old Golden Retriever named Koko Bear. Dr. Bogan is rooted in the Placentia-Yorba Linda community as the go-to veterinarian of family and friends’ pets for years.

Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic is a leader in high-tech surgical and medical veterinary services, but they also offer alternative and complementary care. Acupuncture is one of the non-medical treatments they offer for painful conditions such as arthritis, neuropathy, and seizures, and which can also help with wound healing. Patients enjoy the therapy coupled with chiropractic care or cold laser treatment to help with inflammation and healing.

Their surgical team is highly trained and experienced, and provides the highest standard of medical care for your pet. The surgical suite is equipped with cutting edge technology, and provides a broad range of surgical procedures including spays and neuters. According to the ASPCA pets should be spayed or neutered between 6-9 months of age, to prevent unwanted pet behavioral problems and pet overpopulation.

Whether grooming or spending time at the Pet Resort, your pet will come home with tail wagging and feeling good. Luxurious baths, blueberry facial scrubs, deep conditioning, medicated treatments, and furminator solutions. If your pet is older, has had surgery, or timid they set aside the time to be careful and gentle to help their experience go smoothly. They will also board your pet to accommodate pet parent needs for dogs, cats, or even an exotic pet.
