Trails End Catering

Fresh food prepared right, every time.

Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant is known throughout the region as the go-to stop for family-friendly, quality dining and top-shelf customer service. Local patrons know to expect professional staff and consistently fresh food, prepared right, every time.

That same care and attention extend beyond the restaurant. The team at Trails End brings the same level of hospitality to their catering, serving special events in Snohomish and beyond for over a decade. Each year, they cater up to seventy weddings, along with anniversaries, birthdays, and other private events.

The catering team is led by Jessica Brandt and  Fallon Hanson, who can be found on-site for private events—coordinating details, ensuring everything is in its right place at the right time, and meeting the exact specifications of their clients. They focus on taking care of guests and making sure everyone knows where they need to be and when. Every event follows a detailed guide and proven approach. “The team takes the same pride in executing events as they do in having folks come into the restaurant,” says owner Chris Shirley. “We make sure nothing is lost in translation from initial planning to executing the day of the event.”

This commitment is especially vital for weddings. “There’s nothing more important than being able to trust the people who are in charge of your wedding. Whoever’s in charge of your food really determines how the event will go. Our team really honors that role and the communication and time management required to make things run smoothly. It takes that level of commitment and care for an event to be successful.” Shirley and his team understand that a catering vendor often becomes the de facto coordinator of a wedding or special event—and they embrace the opportunity to serve their clients and guests in this way.

While many catering companies have a narrow scope of how they operate, Trails End offers a wide range of thoughtful options. Clients can pick up catering items in disposable chafing dishes, free of delivery fees, or opt for delivery. The team delivers to hotels, convention centers, community events—you name it.

The catering menu is also more extensive than the restaurant’s, offering everything from a pasta or taco bar to plated dinners of filet mignon. Service styles include family style, buffet, or formal plated meals. Among guest and client favorites, the hand-carved prime rib and raspberry-chipotle pork loin are at the top of the list—and for good reason.

Back on-site at Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant, a generous banquet room seats up to fifty guests, making it an ideal gathering space for community events and private parties. The team prides themselves on being a “one-stop shop” for special events, complete with this spacious yet intimate venue. Many wedding clients choose to host their rehearsal dinner here, working with the same exceptional team for a seamless experience from initial planning through the wedding reception.

For events in the Trails End Banquet Room, select house desserts are available, including New York–style cheesecake and peanut butter pie—two highly requested treats from restaurant regulars. Shirley and his team are currently developing their pastry program and look forward to offering additional dessert options for weddings and events in the future.

The focus on the customer experience and providing best-in-class hospitality for every event sets the Trails End team apart. Their reputation has earned them a place on the preferred vendor lists of countless wedding and event venues throughout Snohomish County.
