Transforming Exterior Spaces

With a focus on creating unique and functional exterior spaces, Bricc Pools + Outdoor Living fulfills a need for builders who listen to clients' visions

When custom home builders Eric and Brandi Cobb started Bricc Pools + Outdoor Living in 2019, it was from a genuine love for crafting beautiful outdoor environments. “At Bricc Pools + Outdoor Living, we aren't just another pool builder, we are your one stop shop for your entire outdoor transformation,” Brandi explained. “We design complete outdoor environments tailored to our clients’ family and lifestyle with a strong emphasis on trust, creativity and craftsmanship. We are unique in that clients don't have to subcontract different firms for each part of their remodel. Our amazing team of onsite designers, contractors and subs makes it possible for us to handle the entire project in-house. This means clear and consistent communication, timely deliverables and quality craftsmanship. Our Dream, Design, Deliver process allows us to start a project right away and have our clients swimming in less than 60 days.”

Although the Cobbs have been designing luxury outdoor spaces for quite a while, Brandi said she still looks at the finished projects in awe of what Bricc has accomplished for their clients. The projects they love the most, she said, are full transformations, adding not just a pool but a gazebo, kitchen, turf, landscaping, hardscaping and even outdoor bathrooms. “When we get to completely rework the space, we are empowering clients to enjoy the beauty that surrounds them. It never gets old watching our clients thrive in their new outdoor living spaces. Creating a way for friends and neighbors to enjoy the beauty of the Lowcountry from the comfort of their own home means everything to us.”

While Bricc has the privilege of consulting on luxury builds and remodels all across the country, Brandi finds that coastal Carolina has its own unique style that influences their designs locally. “With the marsh grass gently waving in a summer breeze, the dolphins playing in the waves and the jasmine blooming in the spring –there is an endless supply of natural beauty that fuels the Charleston dream,” she said. “What most clients really want is a way to capture that Lowcountry landscape and recreate a piece of it in their own backyard.”

For the Cobbs, bringing their clients’ unique visions to life is the most rewarding aspect of their work. “Because our focus is on creating unique, distinctive and functional outdoor living spaces, being able to show that WOW effect when we wrap a project is our favorite part of what we do,” Brandi said. “Knowing we will be leaving our clients with an elegant long-lasting space is what really inspires us.”

Emphasizing the passion, joy, excitement and pride they have for every project, Brandi added, “We want people to enjoy their homes and not have to sacrifice quality. So, when we say, ‘the most important thing we build is trust,’ we mean it. The relationships we create with our clients don't end when the project does –our clients continue to call us for all their home projects big and small. We are proud to say 90% of our business has been referral-based.”

While the Cobbs do keep tabs on industry trends and new technology such as the Structure Studios 3D VIP Renderings, they have found they are often ahead of the curve because, as Brandi said, “Our clients are the standard for refined coastal luxury.”

When they aren’t working on a project, the Cobbs enjoy spending time with their ten grandchildren, serving in Seacoast church and hosting friends and families at their "funny farm,” surrounded by horses, goats and a tortoise named Shelldon. They also love traveling around the world.
