Mortgage Services exceeding your Expectations

Ted & UAMC have an intense commitment to customer satisfaction.

Buying a home is one of life’s most significant events—and for a good reason. So much analyzing, negotiating, calculating, and budgeting goes into purchasing a property.

When it comes to your loan specialist, a seasoned professional who delights in the details is a must—whether you’re buying, selling, refinancing, or planning on building your dream home.

“As I enter my 43rd year originating mortgage loans, it’s clear that experience matters,” says Ted Learakos, Loan Officer with Orange County’s United American Mortgage Corporation. “I remain dedicated to keeping up with these changes to provide the maximum quality of professional service to my clients. My dedication is based on the belief that professionalism is only achieved by having the correct blend of product knowledge, people knowledge, experience, and an intense commitment to customer satisfaction.”

Since 1980, Ted has originated loans for thousands of customers across 14 states. Ted is also a Certified Military Housing Specialist, a status held by less than 3% of all mortgage professionals. Along with his UAMC team including long-time Yorba Linda resident and fellow loan officer Jessica McClure, team assistant Aleta Logan and loan processor Grace Huckeba, Ted strives for total client satisfaction. “Ensuring that you make the right choice for you and your family is my ultimate goal. I’m committed to providing my customers with mortgage services that exceed their expectations,” he says.

Ted’s team specializes in an array of loan types, including Conventional, FHA, VA, Reverse, Bridge, Private Party, No Tax Return, and Commercial Real Estate Loans.

They say that if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. At UAMC, Ted embodies this expression, evidenced by a long list of professional accolades, including being named a Five Star Mortgage Professional for 13 consecutive years.

Luckily, Ted has never had to look far for inspiration. Growing up, he admired the unwavering work ethic of his father, James Learakos—a value instilled into his own character. Later, mentors Joe and Shaun Huntsman introduced him to the loan industry—the perfect place to channel his passion for helping people. “They brought me into the business and showed me how to have fun and enjoy every day that you can help someone buy a home,” he recalls.

Looking ahead, Ted is keeping his eye on the prize—which means continuing to give his all to his clients. “My vision for 2023 is to have another fantastic year of helping folks get the very best loan for a new home.”
