Before meeting Tori, Seth and his dad envisioned a mountainous retreat where he could escape into nature and unwind, so he got to work on the first treehouse. During this, he met Tori, and they quickly fell in love. Inspired by love, he raised the bar of luxury and romance in how he designed and built the treehouse, which he presented as a wedding gift to Tori and the perfect place to spend their first days as newlyweds on their honeymoon.
“It turned into this gift for that day, and it was incredible,” Tori gushes.“He wouldn't let me see it until our honeymoon, so it was a total surprise. It was just absolutely breathtaking, and it was on our honeymoon that we were staying in the treehouse for a few days. We put our phones on Do Not Disturb, and the environment not only inspired us and fostered connection, but it gave us space to dream, pray, and think about our future and what we wanted our life to look like. I was working in news at the time, and this time for us in the treehouse was a turning point. We just felt like this was what we needed to do. This is our life's work and calling, to create more places like this. So that other couples and individuals can experience the same thing. Soon after, I quit my job, and we went all in on this dream together.”
