Decluttering Your Space, Reclaiming Your Sanity

With Utter Declutter, a premium home-organizing business rooted in faith, family, and life in the Paradise Coast

How a season of family transition gave rise to Utter Declutter, a premium home-organizing business rooted in faith, family, and life in the Paradise Coast

On a quiet Naples morning, sunlight spills across a kitchen that feels calm before the day even begins. Cabinets open smoothly. Counters remain clear. There is a place for everything—and everything seems to quietly support the rhythm of family life unfolding within the walls. For Jhen and Casey Watson, this sense of order didn’t come from chasing perfection. It came from necessity, love, and a season of profound transition.

The Watsons are young, entrepreneurial, and deeply rooted in family life. Parents to two daughters with a baby boy on the way, they are also the founders of Utter Declutter, a family-owned, premium home-organizing company serving Southwest Florida. What began as a personal turning point during postpartum recovery has since grown into a business designed to help other families experience the same clarity, peace, and functionality in their homes.

When the Home Stops Working

The story of Utter Declutter begins not with a business plan, but with a kitchen cabinet.

After the birth of their second daughter, Aiana, Casey entered a season of postpartum recovery. Jhen stepped into the role of primary caretaker—managing the household, caring for a newborn and toddler, and navigating the daily demands of family life while ensuring Casey could rest and heal.

Like many homes in transition, theirs slowly became overwhelmed. Cabinets were overfilled. Storage spaces lacked systems. Everyday tasks took longer than they should have, and simple routines felt heavy. One afternoon, while preparing baby bottles in the kitchen, Jhen opened a cabinet—and watched as bottles and tableware spilled out in an avalanche.

In that moment, something shifted. “There has to be a better way to live in your own home,” he realized.

What followed was not a weekend tidy-up, but a full reimagining of how their home functioned. Over the course of two weeks, Jhen reorganized the entire house—room by room. He created intentional systems, introduced labels and zones, and designed spaces around how their family actually lived, not how a showroom suggested they should.

The result was immediate and profound. The home no longer added stress—it removed it.

For Casey, the impact was deeply emotional. During a vulnerable season of recovery, she felt supported, cared for, and surrounded by calm. The mental load lifted. The atmosphere changed. And together, they realized something important: other families deserved to experience this too.

Utter Declutter was born.

A Family at the Heart of the Brand

At the center of Utter Declutter is the Watson family itself.

Their firstborn, Aila, is three years old—vibrant, expressive, and fiercely independent. Advanced in language and personality, she loves dancing, riding her scooter, and dressing up as Elsa from Frozen. She is a devoted big sister to Aiana, protective and affectionate in equal measure. Her one surprising fear? Puppets.

Aiana, now one and a half, is affectionate and observant, with a nurturing spirit well beyond her years. She loves hugs, singing “Let It Go,” and imaginative play. Recently, she’s begun forming sentences—often while proudly holding an impressive six McDonald’s nuggets at once—a family legend in the making.

Their third child, Abel, is expected any day now. His pregnancy has been marked by resilience and faith, following a diagnosis of a rare blood condition called alloimmunization. Despite the challenges, Abel remains healthy—though famously camera-shy, often hiding his face during ultrasound photos.

Completing the household is Alaska, the family’s gentle Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who can usually be found close to wherever the children are playing.

This is not just a brand story—it’s a family story. And it informs everything Utter Declutter does.

More Than Aesthetic: A Lifestyle Shift

For the Watsons, organization was never about making a home look perfect. It was about making life easier.

Before, daily routines were marked by friction—stressful mornings, cluttered evenings, and the constant feeling of falling behind. After implementing intentional systems, the rhythm of the household transformed.

Mornings became calmer. Evening resets took minutes instead of hours. Everyone knew where things belonged.

More importantly, the emotional benefits were undeniable. Reduced mental load meant more presence. More presence meant more connection—with each other, and with their children.

Utter Declutter operates from this philosophy: homes should work for the people living in them. Organization is not about control; it’s about freedom—freeing time, energy, and attention for what matters most.

The Man Behind the Method: Jhen Watson

At just 25, Jhen Watson is the founder, owner, and lead organizer of Utter Declutter—but his path here was anything but expected.

Born in Las Vegas, Jhen moved to Naples at age 14 when his father became an entertainer at Truluck’s on Fifth Avenue. He graduated from Palmetto Ridge High School and quickly became known locally for his musical talent, winning multiple area talent shows.

Music remains a passion, as does his role as co-pastor at a local Christian church. Organization, however, was an unexpected calling—one that emerged organically from family life and revealed itself as both a gift and a service.

“I never set out to start an organizing business,” Jhen says. “But once I saw how deeply it changed our home—and Casey’s experience during postpartum—I couldn’t ignore it.”

Casey Watson: Advocate, Mother, Visionary

At 23, Casey Watson brings a complementary depth to Utter Declutter’s foundation.

Raised primarily in Naples after moving from Kenosha, Wisconsin, Casey was a varsity cheer captain at Naples High School before studying esthetics at Sunstate / Aveda Institute. After her first pregnancy, she transitioned into full-time motherhood—eventually becoming a birth doula serving women both locally and nationally.

Her work focuses on birth education, holistic practices, and maternal and infant rights advocacy. A creative at heart, she enjoys reading, vlogging, and storytelling—and shares Jhen’s entrepreneurial, non-traditional vision for family life.

Together, they have built a business that supports not just homes, but the people within them.

Faith, Community, and the Paradise Coast

Faith plays a central role in the Watsons’ lives. They are active in a growing local Christian church and deeply committed to serving the Naples community long-term.

They embrace Southwest Florida’s outdoor lifestyle, often spending afternoons at local parks—especially Fleischmann Park—where their children can play freely and life feels beautifully simple.

Utter Declutter is not a stepping stone. It’s a commitment to this community.
