In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Kohler brought back two beloved shades from its archives for a limited-edition product release this year: Peachblow and Spring Green.
Peachblow
An original pastel shade from 1934, Peachblow was a bold complement to common browns and taupes of the time. Today, the vintage color is still a bold choice to complement natural tones. Shown on the Vox sink.
Spring Green
Inspired by the blue-green waters of a cool northern spring, this historic hue from 1927 has modern relevance in today’s kitchen and bathroom designs, as a complement or bold standout. Shown on the Farmstead sink and legs.
To help inspire our vintage style in small spaces, we asked for design tips from Laurie Ramirez, the area manager for the Kohler Signature Store in the Park Cities:
- Add pops of color.
- Incorporate soft, clean lines.
- Be playful and intentional with the color.
- Keep the style of the home.
- Install classic fixtures.
- Use simple geometric shapes such as triangles, circles, and hexagons.
