Choate Construction will once again host Cars & ‘Q for the Cause on Saturday, October 25, in support of the Georgia Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation(CFF). The 16th annual car show and popular party now tops 1,000 attendees who revel over prize-winning rides along with a generous spread of Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ, local craft brews and wine, a silent auction, live music, a friendly car competition, kid-friendly activities and much more.
The ever-growing event attracts serious car enthusiasts and long-time patrons alongside first-time attendees who have heard about the “fun” raising and passion for a CF cure. “Once you experience the tremendous hope and progress in the CF community, you are hooked,” says event founder and coordinator Emily Bridges of Brookhaven.
Last year alone, Cars & 'Q surpassed their goal by raising a record $724,144, and is poised to top $5 million overall. These funds have led to groundbreaking developments in medications that help treat the underlying cause of cystic fibrosis.
You'll be able to check out a wide variety of cars, including muscle, classic, exotic, and cool sports cars like the limited edition 1934 Packard Super 8 Cowl Sport Phaeton, AC Shelby Cobra, McLaren 675LT Spider and Chevrolet El Camino.
Cars & ‘Q for the Cause promises entertainment for all ages. Tickets range from $20 to $60. Children under 6 are free. For tickets, visit CarsnQ.com.
