The highly anticipated Wahlburgers Wild location at Bass Pro Shops at The Pyramid in Memphis is open. As the first Walburgers venue in Tennessee and first-ever inside a Bass Pro Shops location, Wahlburgers Wild embraces the magic of the great outdoors to provide a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Mostly, the menu is considered to be delicious staples with a twist—a wilderness-inspired menu by Chef Paul Wahlberg.

As shared in the July 2021 edition of Frisco Life, the restaurant is located in the heart of Memphis as part of a rustic retreat inspired by the great Tennessee outdoors. Known as Big Cypress Lodge, it's located inside of the 535,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid. It features 103 guest rooms, 100-foot tall trees, a swamp with live alligators and fish, the nation’s tallest freestanding elevator, numerous dining options, spectacular shopping and additional attractions.

The restaurant shares the space with the Fishbowl bowling, and is open to both Lodge guests and the public.

The restaurant chain is owned by the Wahlberg family, including brothers Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg. The chain was the subject of a reality series on A&E, running for 10 seasons and giving viewers a peek at the family's inner workings. This new location is the chain’s first Tennessee restaurant, and its first inside a Bass Pro Shop.

Appetizers include truffle fries, barbecue chicken tots, crispy fried pickles coated in panko breadcrumbs and sweet chili glazed chicken tenders.

In addition to the Wahlbergs' famous burgers, crispy fish sandwiches and signature sides (onion rings, sweet potato tots, kale/brussels sprout slaw), they've created the following new "wild flavors" entrees:  venison chili, bison burger and venison bratwurst. They also provide tasty kids' meal options.

Housemade shakes and floats are served, or ice cream and cupcakes for desserts. Adult shakes include Birthday Cake (with vanilla vodka and crème de cocoa), Hot Fudge Sundae (with cherry vodka and banana liqueur) or Mississippi Mud Pie (with vanilla vodka, crème de cocoa and coffee ice cream). Draft beers, as well as bottled beers, are offered. Wines by the glass are an option, along with their housemade Sangria.

Ask about Wahlcoctions adult beverages called True Memphis Fashion, Hangin' Tough, Spiked Cherry Cola, Top Shelf Lit, Strawberry Harpoon, Mississippi Mule and Passion Fruit Colada.

Memphis is a pleasing road trip/day's drive (7 hours) from Frisco.
