Eclipse Cosmetic is a haven for those seeking a personalized and gentle approach to permanent makeup. Jessica Marin, the founder of Eclipse Cosmetic, has turned her lifelong passion for beauty into a transformative career in permanent makeup. From her studio in Media, Jessica brings a blend of artistic precision, compassion, and a deep understanding of beauty to her clients.

Jessica’s introduction to permanent makeup began at a young age. Her mother and aunt had their eyebrows and eyeliner permanently done, a procedure that, back then, was bold, harsh, and painful. Despite the discomfort, the results made them feel more confident, leaving a lasting impression on young Jessica.

Her talent was evident early on, as friends sought her out for her unique ability to shape eyebrows. “In high school, everyone wanted me to do their eyebrows. For some reason, I became that eyebrow girl,” she laughs. She attended a prestigious school in Beverly Hills, where she learned the latest methods of creating realistic and natural permanent makeup. She now has over eight years of experience.

Jessica’s clients have options between permanent, hybrid, and semi-permanent makeup. Permanent pigments can last up to seven years or longer; hybrid pigments last around four to five years before gradually fading; and semi-permanent pigments fade within one to two years.

With a gentle technique and high-quality pigments, the results stay in the skin with less trauma. The skin is numbed for twenty to thirty minutes before the procedure, and a numbing solution is used throughout, between every pass.

Some clients love the makeup look and want their eyebrows or lash lines to be consistently defined. Others prefer a natural look, opting for semi-permanent makeup to maintain a subtle enhancement without the commitment.  Jessica’s approach is always to enhance what her clients naturally have, ensuring their features are highlighted in a way that flatters their unique face shape and style.

Beyond the aesthetic appeal, Jessica frequently works with cancer survivors, individuals with alopecia, and those with scarring or hair loss. By restoring features like eyebrows and lash lines, she helps these clients regain a sense of normalcy and confidence. Her careful and empathetic approach ensures that every client feels comfortable and supported throughout the process. “This is not just a beauty thing. It also changes lives,” she says.

Jessica limits her appointments to three or four clients a day, ensuring each one receives her full attention and care. “It’s all about what I’m giving to them, not how many clients I’m taking,” she emphasizes.

From enhancing everyday beauty to helping individuals reclaim their confidence after illness, Eclipse Cosmetic is more than a beauty studio—it’s a place where art meets empathy.
