Waking Up To Start The Day

Hendersonville Lifestyle Publisher Lynn Bowles Shares His Morning Routine

Everyone has a morning routine that determines how they transition into the day to come. The routines are as unique as fingerprints, evolving over time to reflect changing demands and preferences.

Some of us waken slowly, easing into our day. Others rise quickly, eager to take on the challenges to come. This approach is favored by many busy people, and Hendersonville Lifestyle publisher Lynn Bowles is no exception.

Here is a quick look at Lynn’s morning routine.

6:15 a.m.

“I wake up, get out of bed and brush my teeth. Next, I drink 16 oz. of water while getting dressed for my workout. I then head to my gym, FitRev.”

7:00 a.m.

“I arrive at the gym, and I start my workout with a 15-minute warmup on the treadmill.

After the treadmill, I begin my strength and conditioning program with personal trainer, Jason Santiago.

First, I do a total body strength circuit consisting of chest presses, TRX low rows, squats, cable and rope overhead extensions, shoulder presses and leg curls.

Next, I move on to my core workout that consists of planks, crunches and hip presses.”

8:00 a.m.

“I finish up, and I drink 20 oz. of Amino Boost XXL to increase muscle protein synthesis. I then go home, shower and get dressed.”

9:00 a.m.

“I have breakfast, consisting of a boiled egg, a slice of toast and 8 oz. of orange juice or milk.”

9:30 a.m.

“I have my first cup of coffee, Starbucks French Roast Ground, and then I go to my home office.”
