Founder Greg Sobol was raised in a home that celebrated two rich and enduring traditions. His mother was a proud Jewish Mexican, born and raised in Mexico City, and both of his parents instilled in him a deep appreciation for Jewish heritage, faith, family, and community. Growing up, Greg experienced firsthand how naturally these cultures complemented one another. As Greg grew older, he realized something remarkable. Although tequila is one of Mexico’s greatest cultural treasures, no premium tequila authentically celebrated the connection between Mexico’s craftsmanship and Jewish tradition. Tekiah was born from that realization—not as a marketing idea, but as a reflection of Greg’s own heritage and identity.
