When It's Time To Move Residential Or Commercial Possessions

This 'Relocation' Company's Team Dedicates Themselves To Moving The Community Forward With Reliable, Quality Service

“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself," stated American industrialist and business magnate Henry Ford. This sentiment is also the customer service underpinning of the professional team of Forward Moving LLC based in Exton.

"We're a small but growing business, committed every day to helping people with solid and reliable moving services," says Forward Moving president Daniel Strode.

Having started the business in 2017 with just a rental truck, limited equipment and a storage unit, Dan says they've slowly and steadily scaled up their services, one truck per year, while maintaining all-around quality. Now, their four main business offerings include moving services, removal services, storage and senior moving.

"No two moves are the same, so our specially trained estimators give clients accurate, free appraisals that are tailored to their unique moving circumstances. We're upfront and transparent, and provide everyone with a pre-move confirmation that confirms their exact rate," Dan assures.

They specialize in removing typical unwanted household furniture and other household items. Dan says they recycle and donate locally, although they don't handle hazardous material cleanouts, yard waste, construction debris or demo debris. He says for large cleanouts, they can provide the muscle and labor and may ask that dumpsters be provided.

By offering storage-in-transit and long-term storage for customers, the company's storage options are ideally designed for people who have multiple settlement dates and can’t get into their new places immediately. "If you're selling your home and then traveling, or renovating part of your home and need items picked up, stored temporarily and then delivered to your home when the renovation is finished, we're the storage solution for you," promises Dan.

Items for long-term storing are professionally vaulted in Forward Moving's vaults and kept in a climate-controlled, professionally secured warehouse on-site.

Moving can be stressful and overwhelming for anyone, but can be exceptionally taxing on seniors and aging individuals who are accustomed to being on top of their affairs, or even moving themselves. Dan says they have the expertise and special touch it takes to relocate seniors. "With our care, understanding and experience, we've relocated thousands of seniors in West Chester, Exton, Downingtown and all over the Philadelphia region. Our entire staff, from our movers, drivers, managers and sales consultants, all have experience relocating and consulting for seniors and their family members involved with the process. We take pride in helping seniors by creating a customized moving plan with them and their families."

To meet increasing client needs in 2023, Dan shares they're eager to hire and train new talent. "Especially for anyone who wants a fun place to work within a team atmosphere. We provide good benefits and make the most of a tough job by supporting a can-do culture."

He says they typically have temporary jobs for college students who return home during summers, as well as other roles, such as sales, administrators and managers in addition to movers and drivers.

Dan confirms giving back to the community also is an important part of their business model. They are one of the sponsors in the annual fall food drive hosted at the Downingtown United Methodist Church. Donations go to the Lord’s Pantry and the Chester County Food Bank for families in need. "We enjoy providing the truck to fill up with food donations, which last fall amounted to 2,000 pounds of food," he says.

Additionally, Forward Moving staffers are active participants in the Exton Chamber of Commerce.

"We stay engaged with community needs, just like we strive to make customers' moves as stress-free as possible. We provide great customer service at fair prices, and our overall public reputation is very meaningful and important to us. We're truly proud of our 4.9 rating on Google reviews," Dan adds.
