Rich’s childhood experiences have shaped him into the person he is today—a caring father who ensures his own children never have to question their parents’ love for them.

Rich brings the same dedication to his work, collaborating with his team to ensure every experience at Black Gold is exceptional.
Derricks Grille, the club’s onsite restaurant, features fantastic food, special holiday menus, and the best views in Yorba Linda.
Guests can dine inside the venue, which boasts banquet facilities for 200-plus guests and sweeping views of the golf course, or outside on the covered patio, which features gorgeous views of the 18th green, waterfall, and lake.
Black Gold hosts golf tournaments throughout the year and offers golf lessons and clinics for all ages.
Since joining the team, Rich has led major improvements, including a complete overhaul of Derricks Grille with globally-inspired cuisine and extensive renovations to the wedding and event venues.
Future plans include expanding the patio, adding a new golf performance center, snack bar, restrooms, and banquet facilities, as well as creating a new event venue by the waterfall.
As a former U.S. Air Force service member, Rich remains committed to supporting Folds of Honor, an organization that provides college scholarships to children of fallen heroes. Black Gold participates in an annual golf fundraiser to help further this cause.
