The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is now reopened for guests to once again experience the world-class educational programs and exhibits that the Museum has to offer. The Museum now features a session-based schedule and new safety precautions to ensure guests have an enjoyable and safe visit. Moving forward in 2020, the Museum will continue its exciting monthly programming options for little ones to soak in all the fun that they missed at the beginning of the year.
“We are so thankful to have reopened our doors after a three-month temporary closure due to COVID-19,” said Jane Turner, Executive Director of Children’s Museum of Atlanta. “Our team has been working hard to ensure the safety of our guests as they enjoy the exhibits and activities at the Museum. The response from visitors following our reopening has been enthusiastic and happy, and we look forward to an autumn and winter that continues to welcome and engage children in learning through play.”
This month, Children’s Museum of Atlanta has planned celebrations for Friendship Week and National Dog Day. Friendship Week will be celebrated August 1 - 2, and little ones are encouraged to invite their friends along with them to the Museum for a day of educational play. On August 23, the Museum will pay homage to everyone’s favorite furry friends on National Dog Day. Additional August programming is available at ChildrensMuseumofAtlanta.org.
Children’s Museum of Atlanta is open daily throughout the month of August, excluding Wednesday, August 5 when the Museum will be closed for scheduled maintenance. Guests are reminded to purchase their tickets online, as tickets will not be available for purchase on-site at the Welcome Center in order to maintain a safe capacity.
