Niki Green, LME, had a dream. She believed a smaller town like Lebanon deserved the same advanced, science-backed quality skincare found in big cities. In 2020, she decided to fill that gap and founded The Skin Lab.
Green says, “Opening the doors to The Skin Lab in 2020 was equal parts exciting, humbling and terrifying. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted to create, but stepping into that vision and realizing it was now real was an entirely different feeling.”
The Skin Lab fulfilled Green’s vision of luxurious and high-quality skincare in Lebanon. It was the first establishment in the community to offer modalities like LED light therapy and innovative treatments like the BioRePeel.
Beyond the evidence-based skin treatments, The Skin Lab is known for its personalized service. To Green, the goal was to create a space where customers felt seen, heard and educated.
She explains, “I believe what truly sets us apart is the relationship between clinical knowledge and genuine care. Results are extremely important to us, but so is the way a patient feels while in our care. The Skin Lab is where science meets perfected skin, but it is also where people are known by name, listened to and treated with intention.”
As The Skin Lab celebrates six years in business, Green is appreciative of Wilson County’s support and trust. About Lebanon’s role in the milestone, she says, “In a community like ours, relationships matter. We never take for granted that patients are choosing to place their skin, their confidence and sometimes their insecurities in our hands. Their loyalty is the reason we are celebrating six years.”
The Skin Lab has grown from a dream into a rooted staple of Lebanon. The luxury skincare company now has an established team of aestheticians who are passionate about helping people feel comfortable in their skin (including daughter Isabella Clayborne, LME), an internship program that was established in 2022 and an unwavering commitment to bringing the best techniques and modalities to its clients.
As founder, CEO and Lead Medical Aesthetician of The Skin Lab, Green is also a leading voice in the education space of aesthetics and shares her knowledge as an accredited speaker on local and national platforms.
Of the six-year journey, Green shares, “There have been long days, difficult lessons and many moments that required faith, patience and perseverance. There have also been countless rewarding moments that remind me exactly why I started.”
As Green looks ahead to the next six years and beyond, she says clients will continue to experience the high-quality care The Skin Lab has become known for and will prioritize education to bring the best to Lebanon.
