Where Wellness Meets Community

At Stay Fit Studio, Brittney Everett brings her signature blend of energy, mindset, and movement to a brick-and-mortar space inspired by the neighborhood that shaped her.

Stay Fit Studio might be new to the neighborhood, but its roots run deep in the Park Cities. What began as Brittney Everett’s personal commitment to health and balance has grown into a thriving community and now a brick-and-mortar home for her signature approach to movement. We spoke with Everett to learn more about her journey, her philosophy, and the inspiration behind her new studio.

You’ve built such an engaged following in Dallas through your fitness community. Can you share what initially drew you to health and wellness, and what inspired you to turn that passion into a career?

“It really started when I was about 19. I was out of shape, didn’t understand nutrition, and had zero structure when it came to movement. One day I went to the track to run and couldn’t even finish a full lap. That was my wake-up call. From there, I dove into learning about fitness, nutrition, and mindset. When I finally had my energy and confidence back, I started to see my body respond, and that feeling of strength and vitality hooked me.

I then got into bodybuilding, which taught me discipline, structure, and deep commitment, but it also showed me the darker side of perfectionism. I learned that fitness isn’t about punishment or extremes; it’s about creating a life you can sustain and enjoy. Becoming a mother deepened that lesson and changed how I approach my own health and coach others. Now my mission is to help women build strength physically, mentally, and emotionally. I know what it feels like to start from scratch and completely rebuild yourself.”

How did Stay Fit Virtual first come to life, and how has it evolved since those early days?

“Stay Fit Virtual was born during a time when connection mattered most, in 2020. What started as a way to bring my community together online quickly became a movement. I began teaching live virtual classes from my living room, and it grew organically through word of mouth and social media. Today, we’ve evolved into a full wellness platform that blends strength training, sculpt and mat pilates, mobility, mindset work, and nutrition—all rooted in balance and sustainability. What began as ‘just workouts’ has become a lifestyle and a mindset that women all over the country live by.”

You and your family are rooted here in the Park Cities. How has living in this community shaped you personally and professionally?

“The Park Cities will always hold a special place in my heart because it’s where my fitness journey really began. My very first job as a trainer was at Larry North Fitness, right here in the neighborhood, where I learned not only about training and discipline, but also about people, connection, and community.

There’s a strong sense of togetherness here. Over the years, I’ve met so many incredible people here who’ve supported and encouraged me. It’s rare, and something I don’t take lightly. Personally, it’s made me more intentional about how I show up for others, and professionally, it’s inspired me to create spaces that reflect that same energy—where people feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves. That’s what community is all about.”

You opened your first physical Stay Fit location this past fall—congratulations! What inspired the decision to expand from virtual to in-person, and what can clients expect from the new space?

“Thank you! This has truly been years in the making. I love the digital space and the community it’s built, but I thrive on energy and connection, and there’s just something about being in the room with people that can’t be replicated through a screen. I needed that spark, that exchange of energy, that feeling of momentum. That’s what inspired me to create a space—Stay Fit Studio—that reflects everything I’ve learned over the years.

Every detail has been thought through: the lighting, the music, the flow, even the locker rooms and showers are designed so you can seamlessly go from class to work or lunch. It’s all about creating an experience that supports your lifestyle, not just your workout. At its core, this studio is about bringing energy back into movement and reminding people what it feels like to be fully present, inspired, and connected.”

How would you describe your fitness philosophy and teaching style?

“My philosophy is simple but powerful: move with purpose, master the basics, and build resilience from the inside out. I believe that when movement, music, and mindset align, transformation happens. My teaching style blends structure and intuition. It’s not about perfection, it’s about progression.

I challenge my clients, but I also meet them where they are. From the way a workout flows, to how the lighting shifts, to the words I use to motivate, everything is designed to make you feel grounded, strong, and capable. My goal is that every woman walks out knowing she can handle whatever the rest of her day brings.”

As you look toward the year ahead, what are you most excited about, both for your clients and for yourself?

“This next chapter feels like an evolution, both in my business and who I am as a person. I’ve spent years building a lifestyle that honors health, motherhood, creativity, and leadership without sacrificing joy or purpose. Opening the studio is the physical expression of that. I’m most excited to create a space where my members feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow. Equally, I want to empower my instructors to step into their highest potential and feel confident leading with heart, developing their own voice, and becoming the kind of leaders who create impact inside and outside the studio.

This is bigger than me. It’s about building a community of strong women who lead by example, lift each other up, and redefine what wellness really looks like. That’s the energy I want to bring into this next season.”
