Wesley Mortgage, LLC is the “Official Mortgage Provider of the Tennessee Titans.” Every year, they team up with the Titans to recognize community heroes from the greater Nashville area. Each award recipient is recognized at each home game during the 2023-2024 season. Angel Noble was recognized at the Tennessee Titans’ first home game against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 17th. The Titans highlighted Angel for her work with Mission Of Truth, a nonprofit organization that serves orphaned and at-risk children in Haiti.
Angel is the co-founder and executive director of Mission of Truth, and was nominated for the award by Don Green, retired Deputy Chief for the Knoxville Police Department. When asked why he thought Angel deserved to be recognized, Green said, “I’ve seen first-hand the pains that victims suffer from being trafficked or abused. To see someone make an effort to stop the problem at its source rather than after the fact is refreshing. And for someone to do this at a great personal sacrifice certainly demonstrates selflessness."
Angel says of the award, “My husband and I have been working in Haiti for years. We’ve helped build schools, run medical clinics, install water systems, distribute food and more. Over time, we began to notice children go missing from orphanages with no explanation. This was long before 'human trafficking' was a commonly used term as it is today. We knew we needed to do more- more than just a bandaid approach or a handout. We wanted to help these vulnerable children today and ensure they would not be the victims to trafficking, child slavery, prostitution, and more, tomorrow."
In addition to her full-time position with Mission of Truth, Angel partners with various organizations throughout the United States that educate, prevent and fight against human-trafficking locally and globally. She volunteers teaching basic self-defense, situational
awareness and awareness of predators on social media to both corporate environments and high-school students.
