Pensacola’s Premier Wine Festival Debuts in 2025

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend as Pensacola debuts the Wine on the Water:
Food & Wine Festival, presented by Sandy Sansing Dealerships and Florida Insurance
Agency. From March 20–22, 2025, this premier event will blend fine wines, gourmet
cuisine, and breathtaking waterfront views—all in support of the Sacred Heart
Foundation.

The festival aligns with the 2025 Pensacola Series sailing races, a highlight for sailing
enthusiasts. For the first time, Pensacola will host two events: the first this month from March
23rd, coinciding with the festival, and the second from April 10th–13th. Six elite boats—Fox,
Katana, Summer Storm, Vesper, Windquest, and Wizard—will compete, adding another layer of
dynamic energy to the weekend.

The three-day celebration showcases the best of Pensacola’s culinary and cultural
scene, featuring unique experiences to delight every guest.

Thursday, March 20 – Tide to Table
The festivities begin with Tide to Table, an exclusive evening starting with a VIP
reception at 4:30 PM, where guests can meet the GL-52 sailing teams after the day’s
races. At 6:30 PM, enjoy an elegant VIP dinner featuring gourmet cuisine and expertly
paired wines, setting the stage for a weekend of indulgence.

Friday, March 21 – Sponsor Reception
Sponsors are invited to The Top of the Centre, Pensacola Little Theatre’s rooftop venue,
for a reception from 5:30–7:30 PM. Against stunning views of Pensacola Bay at sunset,
this intimate gathering will celebrate the event’s partners and supporters.

Saturday, March 22 – Grand Tasting
The weekend’s main event, the Grand Tasting, takes place from 1–4 PM at Blue
Wahoos Stadium. Guests will savor premium wines, craft beers, and culinary creations
from top Pensacola chefs. The vibrant atmosphere includes live entertainment, a
Croquet and Rosé Tournament on the field, and views of the GL-52 sailing races gliding
across the bay.

Festival attendees can choose from two ticket tiers for their perfect experience:
General Admission: Includes a tote bag, wine and beer tasting glasses, access to
the biergarten, live entertainment, and gourmet samplings.
VIP Admission: Adds exclusive lounge access, private food tastings, and a
specialty cocktail bar for a more elevated experience.

Proceeds from the festival benefit the Sacred Heart Foundation, supporting healthcare initiatives in the community. “This event celebrates Pensacola’s unique charm while giving back to a cause that impacts so many lives,” shared Jane Lauter of the Sacred Heart Foundation. The Foundation is always happy to receive support from the community. There are so many ways that the Sacred Heart Foundation and Hospital will benefit with the proceeds from the event.

The 2025 Pensacola Series enhances the festival’s appeal, with world-class sailing
races providing an unforgettable backdrop. The series kicks off alongside the festival

from March 20–23. Locals can head down to Plaza de Luna to get a look at this premier event. It concludes with a second event from April 10–13. With six elite boats competing, Pensacola Bay will come alive with action and excitement.
