Guy and Melody O'Tierney have taken the guesswork out of wine. Understanding some of the trepidation surrounding fine wines, they bring a luxury tasting experience to Kirkland while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. The Melody Lynne Vineyard Wine Bar offers high-end, luxury wine tasting minus the fear of the unknown that you might experience elsewhere. Read about their selections and pricing, then go enjoy the quaint and "tasteful" lounge.

2016 Pleasant Hill Grenache-Counoise

This Rhône-style blend combines the luscious flavors of strawberries and black cherries from the grenache, coupled with rich plum flavors and a hint of licorice spice from the counoise.

2016 Melody Lynne Vineyard Pinot Noir

Difficult to grow and the most highly prized wine in the world. Similar to Pommard with more structure than an Oregon pinot, and closer to the Russian River style boasting cranberries, raspberries, vanilla and caramel.

2015 Pleasant Hill Syrah-Tempranillo-Monastrell

“STM” is a Bordeaux blend. Syrah consists of blackberries, blueberries and hints of bacon, while tempranillo offers Spanish-style dark cherry, figs and clove. Monastrell (aka Mourvedre) incorporates plums and black pepper with a meaty taste profile.

2015 Pleasant Hill Spanish Dancer

This Iberian-style red blend consists of tempranillo, garnacha and graciano. Loads of dark fruit intensity with a balanced structure. Leather, black cherry and pepper.

2014 Pleasant Hill Tempranillo and Tannat

This is a robust and girthy red blend with plenty of intense fruit character and structure. This wine is a keeper! Enjoy now or lay it down. Plum, currant and pepper.

2015 SR203 Grenache, Petite Sirah Mourvedre

Not your typical GSM (grenache, syrah, mourvedre). A fuller taste of the medium-bodied Rhône-style red. Red fruit and smooth tannins. Raspberry and plum.

No fear. Unlike other tasting bars and lounges, The Melody Lynne Vineyard has eliminated the unknown when it comes to pricing. Whether your preference is white or red, count on consistency. Surprising for a lounge with such a truly unique tasting opportunity, each glass of white is $8 and each bottle is $19, while each glass of red is $11 and each bottle is $38. How refreshing to know your potential spend before walking in the door.

2016 Pleasant Hill Chardonnay-Sauvignon Blanc

Whole-cluster pressed chardonnay and sauvignon blanc make for a very special white blend. Unoaked with apples, pears, peaches and a tart note. This is extremely enjoyable wine and a best-seller.

2017 Melody Lynne Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

The best fruit on its block—hand-harvested and immediately cold stored. Rich in passion fruit, kiwi and nectarine. Melody’s name on the bottle indicates that these are the best fruits saved for their private label.

2016 Pleasant Hill Sauvignon Blanc

Blended with unoaked chardonnay, the result is a fruit-forward sensation without sacrificing the bright tones that make sauvignon blanc so refreshing. Complete with melon, honeysuckle and hints of lemon curd.

2017 Cedergreen Cellars Viola Rosé

A classic blend of gamay noir and cabernet franc. Flavors reminiscent of bright crushed strawberries and raspberries combine with deep floral notes of lilac and violets. Viola is great company!

Cedergreen Cellars 2014 Chardonnay

Seventy-five percent comes from the Yakima Valley, and the remaining 25 percent comes from Indian Wells. The steely flavors of Yakima combine with the richer flavors of Indian Wells to extend the finish.
