Geoff Meeker is general manager at Mercedes of Buckhead and was reeling when he returned from Las Vegas where he got behind the wheel of the brand’s newest superstar, the EQS. "This is the first luxury all-electric vehicle by Mercedes with a 350 mile range. And while it’s a true S-class, it’s electric with top speeds of around 130 mph,” says Geoff.  “The EQS is quiet and smooth and the technology is amazing with the acceleration drivers count on.  The fit and finish are everything you expect from a luxury German automobile.”

For a very special giving experience, his team will orchestrate an after-hours delivery, complete with a big red bow and a video wall playing an athlete or celebrity’s reel or footage of a couple’s journey for a proposal or anniversary present.

Geoff can make it happen. He has been with the company for 16 years and manages 185 employees, with an impressive number of tenured team members.  “We are proud to have our employee number eight still working with us.”

Together, employees support Soccer in the Streets, ensuring all kids have access to play. “It’s an amazing group, bringing professional players to not only build skills, but to mentor kids and teach life lessons,” says Geoff who wore a white evening gown at the recent fundraiser, Boots, Bow Ties, and Ballgowns - The Black Tie Soccer Game. The dealership has also been a longtime sponsor of CURE Childhood Cancer, supporting the annual Believe Ball (January 15, 2022).

This month, Santa will be visiting Mercedes of Buckhead on Saturdays for photos. Families are invited to call for an appointment (pets welcome too).

The Audi RS e-tron GT for the holidays is ‘both naughty and nice’ - a great description for a car that goes from 0 – 60 in 3.1 seconds with zero emissions,” says Jim Ellis Audi general manager, Rob Waggoner.  “I have to say, I’ve never been behind the wheel of a car that caught me so off guard with its ability. A brisk jaunt in this vehicle will erase any doubts of full electric as a viable performance alternative to gas. As an e-tron owner myself, I find that the best feature of the e-tron is the convenience of refueling at home. It’s simplified my life.”

When you give the gift of an Audi Sport model this holiday, it comes with an exclusive personal motorsport driving experience at Atlanta Motorsports Park. “Our clients can enjoy the thrill of fine-tuning their driving skills or pushing their Audi Sport model to the limit on a private Formula One designed racetrack in the historic mountain town of Dawsonville,” explains Rob.

During this season of giving, Rob is even more proud to be a part of the Jim Ellis Automotive Group. “We’re excited for Audi Atlanta to sponsor Miracle on Peachtree, a string of local holiday festivities themed to encourage the promotion of greenspace, recycling, energy efficiency, commute alternatives, and arts and culture,” says Rob.

Rob’s team will celebrate with a Jim Ellis tradition, an annual holiday luncheon. Rob says, "We take pause to reflect on the things we are so fortunate to have been given and what an honor it is to be able to give back to the community.”

“The new Macan GTS delivers an experience nearly identical to coming down and finding your first bicycle on Christmas morning. Your first bicycle was the initial catalyst behind your independence and newfound love for speed. The only difference is that you'll never outgrow the Macan so every morning can be just like Christmas morning,” says Mike Boyd, general manager at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter.  “And, it has a great price point of $54,900, which makes it a more affordable luxury SUV, with a powerful 261 HP, 0-60 in 6 seconds and a top speed of 144 mph.”

Porsche clients are fairly similar to their cars, says Mike. “Exhilarating focused and above all unique.”

Customers all get the red carpet treatment, whether they visit the Custom Design Center (where clients can build and customize their dream Porsche vehicle) or log onto the Jim Ellis Express Way to purchase online and set up an at-home delivery. “We also offer Mobile Service Solutions where we’ll send one of our Certified Technicians out to a home for a quick and efficient repair. With the holidays coming up, we’re also able to have vehicles stored until right before Christmas to avoid any unforeseen surprises. In certain circumstances, we will deliver the vehicle to you on Christmas eve with a red bow to make sure you and your loved ones are able to spend as much time together as possible.” This holiday season, Mike and his team will be supporting Toys-For-Tots, collecting new unwrapped toys at the dealership.

Hand-built in Italy with engines designed by Ferrari, the gorgeous Levante in rosso is Lorenzo’s choice. “It’s all about style, design and performance and building a car to wrap around the driver. It’s a unique vehicle- an everyday machine, that you can take to the track and really have some fun.”

“The vision from Italy is that the drivers should have everything at their fingertips, with safety as the primary concern. Technology will be easy to use and because everything is about safety, the driver will experience excellent visibility. These are 200 mph cars so we want to be sure the driver is centered safely in that seat, designed to keep them firmly planted,” says Lorenzo who has been with the Jim Ellis Automotive Group for 14 years.

Maserati drivers are celebrities and athletes, but the majority are professionals and entrepreneurs. “Atlanta is a seen and be seen city and the Maserati is just the vehicle.”

With the Jim Ellis Express Way, clients can build their vehicle online and expect white glove treatment upon delivery, with a photo session on the the carpet emblazoned with the Maserati logo. “It’s a very special day,” says Lorenzo.

This year, the Jim Ellis Automotive Group is partnering with the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, making a cash donation for every vehicle sold.

“I also started an ugly Christmas sweater contest a few years ago for our team, so we have a lot of fun and give out prizes, collecting for a contribution to another local charity too.”
