These powerhouse women play a key role in making the Atlanta History Center one of the must-visit attractions in Georgia while also helping build and maintain its rich historical pedigree. They are also playing leading roles in helping the Atlanta History Center usher in its 100th anniversary with a year of celebration in 2026. We are pleased to introduce Erin O'Leary and Pola Changnon.
Erin O'Leary, EVP and Chief Development Officer
Erin leads all aspects of fundraising at the Atlanta History Center. She joined in 2021 after spending most of her career with organizations in New York City, including Carnegie Hall and The New York Public Library. She has also worked for Teach for America, the Foundation for Excellence in Education and Points of Light.
Pola Changnon, Chief Content Officer
Pola Changnon is the Chief Content Officer of the Atlanta History Center, where she leads the strategic vision for marketing, public relations, archives, exhibitions, collections, education, digital storytelling, and gardens. Before joining the Atlanta History Center, Changnon served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Turner Classic Movies (TCM), overseeing all aspects of the brand’s operations. Under her leadership, TCM expanded its reach and influence through groundbreaking initiatives such as the TCM Classic Film Festival and the FilmStruck streaming service.
We wish both of these women the best of luck in their leadership roles.
