Girls Day Out! A Vino-Infused Sedona-Area Hot Spot

D.A.Ranch, an Arizona Gem Fit For Wine-Sipping Sisters

Located about 20 minutes via the scenic 89-A from downtown Sedona, you'll arrive in Cornville. That's where you'll embark on an Arizona gem- greeted by goats. D.A. Ranch is a secret hot spot for experiencing AZ's wine country. It's also the ideal setting for a girl's day out.

D.A.Ranch sits among a drop-dead-gorgeous ambiance- fields, flowers, willows and a lake. With delectable wine selections and cozy outdoor seating, you'll feel like you “got outdoorsy” while wearing wedges and sipping vino.

The sunny weather is perfect for D.A.'s light wines as they won’t stain your teeth and are absolutely delicious. On the tasting menu, experience the Ranch's vast gamut such as Willow White (Seyval Blanc), Malvasia (Malvasia Bianca), Rose (Early-Harvest Tannat), Chateau Tumbleweed Rose Blend (Sangiovese, Graciano, Grenache) and Chateau Tumbleweed Dos Amigos Vineyard Picpoul Blanc (Picpoul Blanc).

With an assortment of wine, there's something for everyone. According to D.A. Ranch insiders, here's a preview of palette pleasing options sure to make your mouth water.

If you love something rich, sip on Capra Tannat because it's the Ranch's G.O.A.T. red wine, pun intended. It's a balanced and unique Tannat, one of Arizona’s most loved varietals- brightly acidic, yet earthy and smoky. You can also try the Cabernet Sauvignon titled “Nestor’s Tale” named after the property donkey, Nestor.

If you love something light, sip on the Malvasia Bianca because it flaunts delicate floral flavor hitting your palate like blossoming jasmine in spring.

If you love something fruity, sip on the Mae Rose because it is perfectly pink, juicy and fruity without being over the top.

If you love a crisp white, sip on the Willow White and reserve the Pond Ramada. At this picturesque ramada, sit beneath the property willow tree with your girls while gazing out over the property lake.

If you love something sweet, sip on the dry and delicious Sangria Special with a box of Gayle’s Chocolates from the Ranch Pantry (ideal for those with a sweet tooth).

And speaking of food, you won't go hungry. Your day with treasured gal pals comes  stocked with the Ranch's "Build Your Own Picnic" program. Hand-select from Boar’s Head charcuterie cheeses and salami, drizzled with D.A. Ranch Olive Oil pressed by Queen Creek Olive Mills, along with hot pickles, nuts, and chocolate. Food trucks often grace the grounds as well.

Among chatting and sipping, enjoy exploring the Ranch. Walk to the tasting room and take IG-worthy pics in front of the 100-year old Stage Coach, recently restored and filled with flowers.

Grab a glass of wine from the Patio Bar, Pavilion Bar, or Main Tasting Room, then take a ride on D.A.'s famed big white swing, but try not to fall (or spill your wine)!

Escape the Valley heat for live music on weekends; the shaded wrap-around porch is equipped with misters and fans.

Finally, settle into the big Adirondack chairs under a favorite shady tree to unwind and complete that Book Club book.

As Northern Arizona’s premier 100% estate-grown vineyard, D.A.Ranch typically produces 1400-1800 cases per year, with limited production and release. Reservations are not required unless you have a group of 13+. daranch.com
