Batter is poured through a funnel into hot oil, fried until golden-brown, then topped with powdered sugar. This top-selling sweet treat can’t be beat!
#3: Zable’s Belgian Waffles
The Zable family brought Belgian Waffles to the Fair in 1969. These baked pastry waffles are lighter and have deeper pockets than American waffles.
#4: Jack’s French Frys
The Pyland family introduced fairgoers to this classic American treat in 1945. Jack’s stands will go through about eight hundred 50-pound bags of fresh potatoes during the Fair’s 24-day run – that’s 40,000 pounds of potatoes!
#5: Stiffler’s Fried Oreos
Stiffler’s Sweet Spot will use approximately 86,000 Oreos to fry up this best-selling treat during the Fair’s 24-day run.

#2: Hans Mueller Brisket & Brew Stuffed Pretzels
The folks at Hans Mueller have taken low-smoked brisket, blended with a bold, beer cheese, then, it’s all wrapped up in pretzel dough with sea salt, and baked.
#3: Rousso’s Dubai Chocolate Funnel Cake Fries
Crispy, golden funnel cake strips are drizzled with warm Belgian chocolate, then topped with pistachio cream and delicate pieces of knafeh pastry.
#4: Tex’s Toast á la Mode
This warm, French toast bake is topped with a generous scoop of Blue Bell® Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream then drizzled with rich caramel, maple syrup and cinnamon cereal crunch.
#5: Nevins Dirty Red Bull® Tex-arita
This cocktail starts with a layer of Fernie’s Funnel Cake Cream liquor and Blue Razz Pop Rocks®. It's then filled with Watermelon Red Bull® margarita and Blueberry RedBull® margarita. It’s finished off with more Pop Rocks®, fresh blueberries, and watermelon.
