First introduced to Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood in 2010, Osteria Morini brings the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to Bernardsville, New Jersey. Known as the Italian Breadbasket, Emilia-Romagna is also the birthplace of some of the flavors and ingredients most commonly associated with Italian cuisine worldwide: prosciutto, mortadella, parmigiano, and balsamic vinegar. Osteria Morini’s wine list was curated to include wines native to this part of Italy. In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests, and we're excited to host you in our New Jersey home. Nicoletta Pizzeria is our sister restaurant, located right next door; an homage to everyone's childhood favorite food - pizza! Indulge in hand-tossed specialty pies like the Funghi: topped with roasted wild mushrooms, sautéed spinach, porcini marsala crema, and melted mozzarella, or the signature Calabrese: loaded with thick-cut pepperoni, homemade fennel sausage, crisp red onions, and fresh mozzarella. Feeling adventurous? Create your own pie using any number of our artisanal toppings. All pizzas are made fresh to order. We are also pleased to offer a Gluten Free pizza crust. Nicoletta also offers a variety of crave-worthy snacks like our famous Polpettine: prosciutto & mortadella meatballs simmered in pomodoro sauce, topped with ricotta and served with a side of perfectly grilled bread. Finish your meal with a soda float with Wild Bill's, or freshly baked apple pie! Osteria Morini received three stars from both the New Jersey Star Ledger and New Jersey Monthly.
