PHILOSOPHY

Rails End Beer Company was started by Dale Reeder as he closed the chapter on a long career in corporate America, and the sun rose on running a neighborhood brewery. The name, and respective logo, is based on a feeling that a painting stirred in Dale during a trip to Breckenridge, while the brewery was just getting off the ground. The breathtaking painting followed train tracks through Rocky Mountain tunnels, disappearing and reappearing, then disappearing again. To Dale, the ‘Rails End’ represents the never ending, and ever changing, journey that we all call life.

BEER

The beer selection at Rails End Beer Company is wildly assorted, including everything from lush IPAs to peppery stouts to earthy ales! The beer that flows through the taps of Rails End carries hints of everything under the sun--from cherry to key lime pureé to toffee to pine to ripe mango to white wine! Fan favorite brews, the Blood Orange Double IPA and the Blood Light, are actually so popular that they are now distributed to local department stores.

VENUE

Rails End is a charmingly industrious venue, on par with the railroad theme, with modern design elements paired with a familiar Colorado aesthetic of wood, patio lights, and red umbrellas. The sprawling venue boasts a dining room area adorned with the grand brewing machinery. The gorgeous wooden outdoor patio offers multiple platforms and seating, and even serves as a yoga studio on Saturday mornings, where Wild Souls Yoga hosts a morning of “movement, music, and community.”

EVENTS

Rails End Beer Company offers many other community events, such as movie nights, open mic nights, trivia nights, comedy nights, pottery nights, bingo nights, ½ off flight nights, ladies nights, and even more creative outings! Check them out at railsendbeerco.com/events/.

GIVING BACK

Stay tuned for another important event, a fundraiser for a retired police officer recovering from cancer. Dale emphasized the importance of supporting those who serve their community, and will hold the event in October, details to be announced. Dale explains how he, himself, feels very supported by the Broomfield community and their continued business despite the halts due to the pandemic. “To the people of Broomfield, I would just like to say, thank you, you all are the reason we are still here.”
