When Regina Noble first transformed her baking hobby into a business, she kept creating sweet treats from her home. In July 2023, she opened her storefront, marking a tremendous milestone. A year later, Noble Delights Bakery is going strong.
For about eight years, Regina has shared her passion for dessert artistry with our community. Growing up, baking served as therapy for her, and she thrived in the kitchen where her imagination soared. Today, when faced with off-menu requests like Swedish princess cakes or German buttercream, she excites in taking her work to the next level.
Regina also enjoys imparting her industry knowledge to young adults. Partnering with the Texas Workforce Commission and their SEAL program, Leander ISD’s LIVE program, and Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, Noble Delights Bakery offers students valuable workforce experience.
“We love mentoring and helping students achieve their dreams, or being a stepping stone toward achieving their dreams,” says Regina. “They get to delve into hands-on experience, from the day-to-day operations of an actual bakery to experimenting with different kinds of cakes and decorating techniques.”
Although every cake starts with looking for inspirational photos and discussing what someone is looking for, doing so with kids is particularly special to Regina. With designs ranging anywhere from Alice in Wonderland to dinosaurs to unicorns, it’s incredible for her to see children engage in the process, drawing concepts to be turned into completely custom 3D versions.
“Kids are into so many different TV and internet shows, books, and video games. It keeps us on our toes with researching the cake design subjects,” says Regina. “When the parent brings the child along to pick up the cake and I see their positive reaction, it warms my heart. There’s a piece of my heart that I put into each design.”
