The journey to becoming a champion begins in freshman year, rooted in the Dominican pillars of Prayer, Study, Community and Service. A standards-based curriculum, vertically aligned to the Advanced Placement course of study, allows faculty to personalize instruction while maintaining academic rigor. Signature programs such as the Academic Achievement Center, Leadership Institute, Academic Pathways and College Partnership Program ensure students receive the guidance and opportunities needed to succeed. Every student is challenged to grow, lead and discover a unique path to excellence.
Champions are also developed through vibrant student life. Albertus offers extensive opportunities in athletics, the arts, clubs and community service. Since 2022, 26 graduates have gone on to compete in collegiate athletics at institutions including Brown, Clemson, Columbia, Holy Cross, Miami and the United States Naval Academy. Albertus teams have captured multiple state, regional, sectional and league championships, along with producing five High School All-Americans.
The arts are equally distinguished, earning award-winning recognition in theater and at the Garner Arts Festival. Beyond athletics and the arts, students engage in a wide variety of student-led clubs and service initiatives rooted in the Dominican pillars.
