Hoisin-Honey Glazed Air-Fried Wings and Creamy Mango Slaw are a New Favorite for Guys' Night In

There’s nothing like a good batch of wings, but this version of the classic guys’ night food is as unexpected as it is delicious. Lightened up and crispier thanks to a bake in the air-fryer and sweetened with an easy homemade hoisin sauce, these have just the right amount of tang and umami. Pair the wings with a creamy mango slaw.

Wings

2 lbs chicken wings, seasoned lightly with salt

1 tbsp natural creamy peanut butter

1 ½ tbsp honey

1 tsp sesame oil

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

1 tsp miso paste

1 tsp sriracha

½ tsp fish sauce

Preheat air fryer to 400°.

Spray air fryer basket and wings with olive oil and air fry until crisp, about 20 to 23 minutes.

While wings are air frying, add the additional ingredients into a small saucepan on medium heat, whisking to combine.

Allow sauce to come to a medium boil and lower heat to low, whisking occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

Drizzle sauce generously over wings.

Slaw

1 bag coleslaw mix

1 large mango, julienned

1 jalapeño, de-seeded and finely diced

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

Juice of one lime

In a large bowl, combine slaw mix, mango and jalapeño.

In a separate bowl, whisk together other ingredients until combined.

Pour dressing over slaw, toss together thoroughly and serve.
