With all that’s going on in the world these days, it’s incredibly important to remind ourselves how much we have and how plentiful our hearts are. Each night when we put our kids to bed, we ask them to tell us three things that were good about their day. Usually it’s, “I got to play with my friends!” or “Lunch was good today!” It’s still making them think about the good things that happened and not what went wrong or what they didn’t get to do.
This is the month when we tend to focus on all that we’re thankful for. It can be as simple as I’m thankful that we survived the hottest summer and can finally enjoy the outdoors again. Or maybe you had a major life change this year that made you incredibly thankful. Personally, I'm incredibly thankful for my family; my incredibly supportive friends; this amazing community; and my team behind the scenes, who work so hard each and every day.
So as you lay your head to bed tonight, try to think about what three things you’re thankful for today. You might be surprised how great the day actually was.
See you around town,
