In the world of real estate, being a successful real estate agent takes more than connections and know-how. Joanne Papadimitriou has been guiding clients through the buying and selling process for more than 15 years. Westfield Lifestyle sat down with Joanne to find out what drives her.
What’s your favorite part of being a REALTOR®?
Building relationships with people keeps me engaged. I have met clients who became friends and I have friends who became clients. My role doesn’t end when the keys are handed over.
What do you like best about living and working in Westfield?
I love the sense of community and being part of a very caring town. I enjoy being involved; from being PTO president to Board Member of the Westfield Food Pantry. I also like being a sponsor for community events such as WOW and Kiwanis. Westfield has no shortage of organizations that support the community, and I think it is vital to give where you live!
Tell us about your family.
I’ve been married to the love of my life for 30 years. We have two amazing children, our son who is 27, and our daughter who is 23. My family is the most important thing to me. Not only do they support me, they are happy that I love what I do. I am truly blessed.
What is it about Keller Williams that has made you stay with the brokerage?
I just celebrated 15 years as a REALTOR®; all of that time has been with Keller Williams. The culture is bar none and our mission statement is incredibly meaningful to me: to build careers worth having, businesses worth owning, lives worth living, experiences worth giving, and legacies worth leaving. Our values are God, family, and then business. A company that embraces and encourages these principles is truly where I belong.
If you were not a REALTOR®, what would be your dream job?
This is my dream job! I really can’t imagine having another job that is more fulfilling than helping clients realize their real estate dreams, unless of course, I drove the Cash Cab!
