At Richter there’s a new Executive Chef, Frank Ramirez, who was promoted in the last couple of months. Also serving as Front of the House Manager Chef Frank has been a part of the Richter Family from the very beginning. “I am incredibly proud of the dynamic environment we have created; there’s no place I’d rather be.” Having served as Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Manager, as well as a head banquet chef, Frank’s wealth of opportunities have allowed him to understand all aspects of the culinary field. “A truly successful operation needs a cohesive front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house team in order to provide guests with the best culinary experience and an inviting atmosphere. We at Richter Tavern have something for everyone.” Hours for the Tavern are 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The menus have been expanded to include all three floors with the revamping of the primary kitchen in the Tavern. The variety of cooking styles is surely aimed to please: from Pizza and Burgers to Steak and Fish plus Sushi Rolls. The menu will continue to change seasonally. Favorites like the Grilled Akuashi and New York Strip will have adjustments to the seasonings with each new season. The Pan Roasted Snapper is actually cooked in the pizza oven, which adds a unique flavor. The Cheese Tortellini and Pesto-based Veggie Pizza provide very satisfying veggie options. The Asian Fusion menu first featured in the Cork & Keg is now available throughout Richter restaurants. Always make room for Cheesecake with fresh daily special toppings. It is a huge hit, along with the Monster Cinnamon Rolls at Richter Bakhaus, which have become an internet-fueled bestseller. The Bakhaus is open from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays.
Richter has hand-crafted Cocktails to go again, so customers can take the party home. Cork & Keg is continually upgrading its unique wine selection, customer education opportunities, and service levels. There is live music every Saturday night at the Cork & Keg, which is open on Sundays and Mondays from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.; Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The restaurants get daily deliveries of fresh produce and meats; every bit of the food is used daily to ensure freshness. There is zero percent spoilage. Owners Guy and Joi Sanders deliver cooked meals to the Kendall County Women’s Shelter on a weekly basis. Things are running smoothly and the Richter restaurants have been successful.
