Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities

For nearly 45 years, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities has been keeping families close when it matters the most. The mission of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities is to transform pediatric healthcare access and experiences for families with ill, injured, or recovering children through a network of houses, family rooms, care mobiles, and community resources. In unimaginable situations, Atlanta’s two Ronald McDonald Houses provide families with a welcoming and comfortable place to call home near their child’s care.

The BuckHaven City Lifestyle team and families had the pleasure of cooking and serving breakfast to RM House guests and it was one of the most memorable mornings we had during the holiday season. Gather family, neighbors, work colleagues or church friends and reserve a time to shop, prepare and serve a meal to families staying at the gorgeous house while their child is receiving care at the adjacent hospital.

You can make a difference and help Atlanta RMHC serve more families. Here’s how:

Make a gift. Atlanta RMHC relies on the community’s generosity to serve families. Every gift makes a difference and ensures no child faces injury or illness alone.

Volunteer. Friendly faces spread joy and make the Houses feel like home. Volunteers are needed to help at special events, answer the front door, and greet families and guests with friendly smiles.

Serve a Meal. Groups can prepare and serve families a delicious dinner as part of the Meals that Heal program with Chef Jeff. The chef will plan a well-balanced menu, provide all necessary ingredients, and guide your group through preparing the meal.

Donate Supplies. Atlanta RMHC’s Amazon Wish List is updated weekly with items the families and Houses need. It is a powerful and easy way to help.
