To share a bountiful Thanksgiving feast with family and friends, it is really important to serve a fabulous dessert that everyone will want to taste. And what better way to accomplish that than ordering or picking up a pie from your favorite restaurant! That way you'll know it will be good and you only have to serve it. Some of our favorite places to pick up pies to-go include Bumdoodlers Lunch Company, Hungry Horse Restaurant and Catering and Tootie Pie Company Boerne. Of course, you can always eat a slice on-site but you don't want to deprive your Thanksgiving dinner guests from the opportunity to share those crispy crusts and fragrant fillings.
All of the aforementioned shops will take orders for pies to be picked up before Thanksgiving Day. Bumdoodlers stacks hundreds of pies in its shop to make it easy for shoppers to pick up their orders. They make extra for those who have forgotten dessert during all the planning. Hungry Horse will make the usual amount of pies for that season but have no problem filling orders year-round. Tootie Pies always carries a variety of pies to be taken out but I'd call in early to be sure you can select just the kind of pie you wish to serve.
