Graze Craze Brings Beautiful Boards and Effortless Entertaining to Surprise

Something about a beautifully arranged board immediately makes people want to gather around it. Maybe it is the freedom to try a little of everything, the conversations that happen while reaching for another piece of cheese, or the way an ordinary evening suddenly feels like an occasion.

That easy, social style of entertaining is at the heart of Graze Craze, a new locally owned and owner-run charcuterie boutique in Surprise.

Owned and operated by Tonja Curtis, Graze Craze celebrated its grand opening in June 2026, bringing a fresh approach to gathering to the West Valley. For Curtis, the concept is about more than arranging meats and cheeses. It is about hospitality, presentation, and creating something that naturally brings people together.

Charcuterie has certainly had its moment in recent years, but its appeal is easy to understand. There are no formal courses or rules. Everyone can reach in, discover a new favorite, and build the perfect bite. It works just as easily for a quiet date night as it does in the middle of a bustling celebration.

At Graze Craze, that experience begins with boards handcrafted from a mix of thoughtfully selected meats, cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, sweets and accompaniments. House-made dips and jams bring in unexpected flavors, while different combinations mean no two grazing experiences have to feel exactly alike.

And while the traditional meat-and-cheese combination remains a favorite, grazing has become much more versatile. Classic, vegetarian, keto, and gluten-conscious selections allow guests to find something that works for their table, while individual options turn the experience into something you do not necessarily have to share.

Although sharing is admittedly half the fun.

That flexibility is also what makes a grazing board fit into so many moments. It can show up for girls’ night with a bottle of wine, become dinner when nobody feels like cooking, or make an easy gift that feels far more personal than something pulled from a shelf.

For larger celebrations, the same idea can expand into full grazing tables and catering for birthdays, corporate events, weddings, showers and holiday parties. The presentation becomes part of the celebration itself, giving guests something beautiful to discover while encouraging them to move around, mingle and stay awhile.

Pickup, delivery and online ordering also bring a little practicality to all that prettiness. Anyone who has hosted a party knows that making things look effortless usually takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work.

For Curtis, however, perhaps the most meaningful part of opening Graze Craze is doing it here in Surprise. As the community continues to grow, locally owned businesses have an opportunity to create the places and experiences that become part of how residents celebrate everyday life.

Graze Craze is Curtis’ way of adding something delicious to that mix, one board, gathering and conversation at a time.

Because sometimes a memorable night does not need an elaborate plan. It just needs good food, favorite people, and something in the middle of the table everyone can share.
